Purpose of role

The role is required to help the set up and launch of the new Mortgage Specialist team within my clients Wealth Management UK business. The training and supervision of the new team into competency status within the new scheme is vital to ensure a clean handover of mortgage specialism from the existing regulated bankers to the new team.

Core accountabilities

To support the head of this area in the regulated training, coaching and development of the new mortgage advisor team, through to full competency by using:

* Observed interviews
* Paperwork checks

Key clients (internal and external)

* Senior and local/regional Management
* Head of department and the Business Risk and Governance team
* Private Bankers
* Mortgage Specialists

Role requirements

- CeMAP qualified
- Previous supervisory experience A MUST
- Ability to adapt to the business processes and procedures quickly
- Willing and able to go through supervisor training prior to picking up the new teams.
- Robust understanding of Regulatory Framework and practical application of regulatory rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates high standards of integrity
- Self starter
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure

Professional/Technical experience

* Hold appropriate professional CeMAP qualifications
* Previous experience of supervising within a high net worth environment is essential
