Description
Mechanical Designer required for a 6 month contract assignment based in Norway.
In the role of Mechanical Designer you will be responsible for:
- Discipline design, suitability, production and assembly
- Preparation of documents and drawings according to Engineering Plan
- Follow up of mechanical and S&A production and assembly
- Ensuring compliance with, customer requirements, government regulations, requirements set within the discipline and requirements set forth in the Quality System
- Mechanical products and production within relevant projects.
- Technical supervision and best practice within the work discipline
- Follow up of Fabrication activities at fabrication site
The ideal candidate for the role of Mechanical Designer should have:
- 3 Years of Engineering school education.
- Minimum 2 years mechanical experience within piping and structural design work.
- Skills with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Project)
- Skills with Autodesk product - Inventor 3D
- Skills with Acrobat
