Responsibilities
- A leading Security Consultancy Company require a McAfee Anti-Virus Technical Consultant to work across client sites in Public/Financial and private sector.
- You will provide expertise (SME) in the entire McAfee suite of anti-malware and security products (eg McAfee Anti-Spyware Enterprise, Host Intrusion Prevention, Virus-Scan Enterprise, Data Loss Prevention and Mail Scanning)
- As a McAfee Technical Consultant you will carry out product testing and implement range of McAfee products within the defined specification. Monitor alerts from Security Bulletins/Blogs/E-mail alerts/Virus alerts.
- Provide recommendations for updates to tools and desktop clients.
Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of and experience in/with McAfee Security products (including Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Intrusion Prevention, Encryption etc.
- Proven Enterprise Management architectural and implementation skills with a focus on Security and Threat Management Systems , products and methodologies.
- Experience with Mail-Scanning

- Host Intrusion Prevention (HIP) - versions v7.0 to v8.0
- GroupShield 7.0 for Microsoft Exchange (GSE) - versions v6.0 to v7.0.2
- GroupShield 7.0 for Lotus Domino (GSD) on Windows
- Data Loss prevention (DLP) - version v9.0
