Composite Technicians required by leading blue chip
Job Role
Hand lay-up of composite components from pre-impregnated carbon and glass fibres.
Hand trimming of carbon fibre parts using air tools.
Surface preparation of composite and metal substrates prior to adhesive bonding.
Structural bonding of composite components.
Operation of Composite processing equipment, eg Ovens, Autoclave, and CNC controlled pre-preg cutting machine.
Essential Requirements
Experience in the laying-up of complex components using composite carbon prepregs is essential.
Experience of performing fitting, bonding, liquid shimming, and riveting operations on composite structures would be advantageous.
