Description
Introduction:
Product Safety and Environment (PS&E) department is in charge of acquiring Safety certifications for products which are manufactured. This is done in collaboration with international Certification Bodies in Europe (eg T&V, Cetecom) and USA (UL). Members of the PS&E department give support to R&D projects for compliance with international safety and EMC standards, PS&E department also gives advice to the R&D senior Vice-president whether a product is ready to be launched, ie only products that are safety compliant are suitable for market introduction.
In order to arrange Safety Certifications for other countries outside West Europe and USA, a new strategy is being developed: this is the so called Global Market Access.
