Voor onze klant in Eindhoven zijn wij opzoek naar een hands-on operational change manager. Onze klant is bezig met een grote uitrol binnen de productie omgeving. Dit brengt een geheel nieuwe werkwijze met zich mee. Het is de taak van de changemanager om dit proces te begeleiden.

Project description
Within manufacturing, a large program has been started that will implement a new and long term IT backbone. This backbone directly supports several manufacturing processes. The Production Order Management project (POM) is a multi-year and large project that will set the foundation for the SFC program. The POM system will replace the current Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and will provide a system that supports the daily execution in the factory and required work preparation.
The project is already running for several years and is entering the last phase for go-live, which is planned to take place in June 2013. At the moment, the focus in the project is on the realization and testing of the system and on preparations for the actual implementation on the shop floor.

Position in the Project
The Operational Change Manager (CM) reports to the POM Project Leader. He/she has an important interface to stakeholders of the project on all levels (from operators to Directors) and to the SFC program Manager. The CM guides the stakeholders and the project team through the change of the implementation of the new POM system. In cooperation with the Project Leader, the CM (further) defines and executes the change management plan and communication plan. In doing so, an operation oriented working attitude is crucial. We ask the CM to be actively involved in the implementation (eg for onboarding workcenters, detecting and addressing resistance and measuring and improving the "change readiness"), and help in fact the implementation team in any way to come to a successful implementation. We also expect the CM to be actively involved in the communication to the shop floor.

The POM Operational Change Manager demonstrates best-in-class Change Management and Communication skills to ensure an as smooth as possible implementation of the POM system

Job Description
Executes the projects Change Management plan & Communication Plan
Facilitates and 'smoothens' the actual implementation on the shop floor
(Further) defines and executes the change management plan and communication plans
Acts as 'sparring partner' for the Project Leader and Program Manager on project and program related matters
Is fully at ease in working with (middle) management, but also in working with operators, assemblers and testers
Does not only define and coach, but is focused on the operational aspects of the implementation
Has a hands-on mentality
Provides on the job coaching to the project team, not by prescribing what needs to be done but by facilitating discovery learning

Educational/Experience Level
Proven track record in the role of change manager/communication manager in large implementation projects, preferably in a technical manufacturing environment, HBO/WO level.

Experience:
Has a proven change management/communications track record
Has experience of working on projects in a technical manufacturing environment
Has experience in IT system implementation
Has proven coaching experience

Personal Skills
Able to convince, inspire and motivate people and cooperate with people on the shop floor up to and including higher management; good knowledge of both Dutch (fluent) and English language; strong communication skills and drive to help realizing the project's business goals, whatever it takes.

Availability
The candidate should be available from April, for 4-5 days/wk, for 6 months, with possibility of extension.
