SAP MM Analyst

I am look for a SAP Materials Management specialist, initially reporting to the SAP Team Leader, responsible for operational support & maintenance of the MM module and its development, depending on business requirements. Proven ability to implement full life cycle development projects, and knowledge and experience is required in the following areas:
  • Procurement processes: purchase requisitions, purchase orders, service entry sheets, purchasing release strategy.
  • Purchasing master data: vendor master, contracts, info records, source lists.
  • Inventory management: stock movements, cycle counting, vendor managed inventory, consignment stock.
  • Invoice verification: invoice matching, credit memos.
  • Customising skills: thorough knowledge of how to configure the core MM processes.
  • An understanding of how MM links with other SAP modules.

Some knowledge and experience of the following modules would be desirable:
  • FICO - Financial and Controlling
  • SD - Sales and Distribution
  • REA - Recycling Administration.


The company is developing a supplier website, VINE. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing its interfaces into SAP; therefore any knowledge of linking SAP to web-based applications would be highly beneficial.

The successful applicant will be expected to be responsive and provide a high level of client service and accuracy in accordance with agreed service level agreements. This will involve providing reasonable out of office cover to ensure smooth and continued operation when required. In addition, the role holder will be expected to work pro-actively with key users and be confident communicating on a one to one and group basis to identify and implement improvements to the system.

When it becomes necessary the role will involve project managing any enhancements and changes to the system, therefore, strong interpersonal, verbal / written communication skills and organisation skills are essential to deliver projects on time and within an agreed budget.
