Description
This is an long term contract sitting within Group Operations taking direction to help manage the cost base by delivering opportunites that drives cost out through demanad management, simplifying specifications and strenghening supplier relationships to mitigate risk and improve performance.Accountabilites:
Understand category and sub-category strategies providing input when required.
*Use appropriate methodologies and techniques to provide detailed analysis on spend information to help identify potential opportunities.
*Develop a sound knowledge of internal customers' Sourcing needs, developing effective relationships to increase their awareness of Sourcing promoting good Sourcing practice across the Group
*Prepare sourcing documentation within delegated areas of responsibility including tender documents, analyse and evaluate tenders, appraise suppliers and implement the most appropriate Sourcing strategies
*Understand and ensure appropriate contract terms and conditions are applied relative to contract value, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation is embedded into supply contracts to provide high quality services to the Group
*Work collaboratively with the Supplier Management teams to develop and implement the appropriate supplier governance structure ensuring effective contract handover
*Lead or support small cross functional teams to deliver projects.
*Compliance to all Sourcing policies, procedures and systems ensuring an efficient and auditable Sourcing trail
