Title: SPV MO Associate
Based in London//Contract//£280-£330
The Bankstrading desks are some of the busiest and most innovative in the market, and are continually looking for ways of expanding their business, using the SPV platform to market established products to investors. The SPV Middle Office has been created to support this growing business and to improve the Middle Office control function. SPV Middle Office support model offers many benefits including: a more consistent control framework, a consolidated view of all SPV's across global markets, an opportunity to streamline and re-engineer the Middle Office process, specialisation of SPV control, and a single point of contact for all Middle Office SPV queries. This role requires a strong candidate with cross asset class experience in a Middle Office trade control role.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall: A project team member for the reconciliation of Historic SPV cash accounts across multiple asset classes:
- Reconcile SPV cash account balances
- Verify cash flows to both legal documentation and trade capture systems
- Liaise with trading desks, legal department, Paying Agents and Middle Office line of business functions
- Prepare regular Management reporting
- Routine tracking of Balance population
- Identify & implement improvements to the system infrastructure & control environment

- Knowledge of Front to back process flows from trade capture to settlement including trade life cycle management
