My client is a leading telecommunications provider and is searching for an online project manager to report to the Head of Online Implementation to lead, drive and deliver one or more projects on their websites, ensuring all online activities meet business needs, are delivered to a high quality standard, on brand and within delivery timeframes and budget to agreed sales targets.You will have the following skills and preferably have worked in a telecoms environment.
* Extensive experience in the end to end production of large scale ecommerce online projects with an appreciation of the likely sources of problems and options to improve the situation
* Experienced in parallel running more than one project
* Highly experienced and effective in working with cross-functional virtual business teams and ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
* Excellent project management skills - understanding of the principles and processes, including change control and formal sign off at relevant stages
* Proven experience of excellent web content production - requirement taking, brief production, planning, prioritising and managing work in an environment with tight deadlines and daily output
* Ability to plan ahead for resource requirements and act appropriately to ensure smooth project delivery
* Ability to multi-task and deal with ambiguity
* Excellent understanding of best practice online user experience principals with some experience in creating user flows
* Thorough and broad understanding of web technology & systems
