Job/Opportunity
*Design and development using JSP/Java and Oracle
*Interface with customers regarding project work.
*Design and development of interfaces to external systems.
*Help ensure that all business, customer and IT delivery elements are taken into account from a requirements perspective eg user centered design, process dependencies etc.
*Work as part of the project delivery team to ensure that the requirements are delivered in accordance with customers needs, including participation in project quality assurance.
*Aiding the requirements process from the IT Delivery perspective (analysis, documentation, verification, use case generation).
*Convey information on critical issues in a timely fashion.
Skills/Expereince
* Strong J2EE and JSP skills highly desirable.
* 5 to 6 years of Oracle development experience - preferably 10/11g.
* Excellent PL/SQL skills.
* Development Methodologies - Agile a preference
* Strong analysis, design and estimation skills.
* Good customer facing skills - strong customer focus necessary for this role.
* Customer Support skills - 3rd level customer support will be required.
* Good interpersonal and team working skills.
* Good communication and presentation skills.
* Possess demonstrated customer orientation.
* Highly motivated with willingness to take ownership/responsibility for their work.
* Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability and motivation to rapidly acquire additional technical skills.
* Excellent documentation skills.
