Connect44 is looking for ZTE Alcatel Transmission Engineer in Cairo.
Functional Skills
Excellent knowledge of the following:
- Training and mentorship skill.
- Very good communication & presentation skills.
- Troubleshooting of microwave resources and services.
- ZTE (NR8250) and Alcatel (LSY 9600) Administration & Configuration.
- TDM/Ethernet services administration & configuration.
- ZTE and Alcatel Microwave Emergency handling.
Competence Elements
The following competence elements are required for ZTE/Alcatel Transmission Consultant functional role:
- Strong knowledge in Alcatel/ZTE products software and hardware architectures especially in the below products:
- ZTE: NR8250, TX NMS NetNumen M31
- Alcatel: LSY 9600, Go-Global and TX NMS.
- Strong knowledge in microwave planning and fundamentals.
- Ethernet/Hybrid microwave awareness.
- Very Good understanding of E2E network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Very Good understanding of IP, OSPF, STP protocols
- Very good understanding of Alcatel/ZTE different transmission links performance indicators descriptions
- Very good understanding of microwave network performance KPIs calculations.
- Knowledge of Optical ADM configuration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Fujitsu (Trunk links) is a plus.
General competencies
The following general non-technical competencies shall be fulfilled by Alcatel/ZTE transmission Consultant functional role.
Education
- Degree within Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
- Have a minimum 5 years of experience in Alcatel/ZTE products. And 8 years of experience in microwave field.
- Strong knowledge of Optical, Microwave theories.
Language
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Arabic is not compulsory but advantageous
