Description
Avanti Recruitment are working with a defence software provider based in the UK who have a project with a defence client in Canberra, Australia. They require an experienced Business Analyst who is willing to spend most of the next 3 months on client site in Australia to start ASAP.
The role will include reviewing the clients requirements and assessing where they align with the company's established baseline platforms and methodologies before producing documentation for the development team in the UK. You will see this project through to QA stage and potentially beyond.
You must be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders in the defence sector and ideally have an appreciation of the software development life cycle. If you have a background with .Net, WPF applications that will be beneficial as would knowledge of modelling applications.
As you will be based in a country with a 9 hour time difference and you will be required to communicate with the UK your daily hours may involve starting a little later and finishing a bit later each day. There may also be the occasional requirement for some weekend hours. There will be a break in the middle of the contract where you will return to the UK and the company site in Surrey.
The company are willing to pay for flights and accommodation whilst you are abroad on top of the day rate.
