Due to continued growth and development, Chase Resourcing has been asked to recruit a Software Developer to join our clients existing successful and dynamic IT team.
Tasks:
- Developing robust, flexible, reusable, efficient and scalable IT applications.
- Work closely with users in defining system requirements.
- Coding and testing applications.
- Developing detailed project plans.
- Writing design documents and API documents and assisting in the writing of Test Plans / Procedures.
- Designing system changes for existing and new systems.
- Developing test plans for system changes and new systems development.
- Database design and development.
- Documentation of Design, Test and Support process.
Requirements:
- Possess relevant computer qualifications / experience.
- Possess a strong grasp of data structures and object-oriented programming.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work with large, complex systems and develop new enhancements.
- 3+ years experience as a C/C++ or Delphi Software Developer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A 4 year Honors Degree in IT/Computer Science.
- Reasonable knowledge of Multi-tiered architectures.
- Experience with Transaction Processing.
- Reasonable knowledge of Fault-tolerant computing, Clustering.
- Experience with C# and dotNet framework.
- Experience in ERP systems development.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Nav development.
