Description
One of my clients based in the Benelux Region is currently looking to hire a Murex Support functional lead.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Murex system support and system upgrades for users in the Front Office.
- Provide day to day system and applications support to Front Office to Back Office users in the Interest Rates Derivatives, FX, Money Market, Equities and Credit business.
- Manage and allocate work to the Murex functional support team resources
- Build and maintain good relationship with respective business users (esp. FO) and ensure IT and business alignment is visible.
- Proactively generate awareness to management of strategic issues needed to keep IT aligned with business priorities.
- Define, monitor and enhance support processes to improve overall team performance in a global environment
- Incident Managements and own communications upon system issues/outages.
- Report to Support Team Manager, providing guidance as necessary and estimating significant Team Tasks
- Monitor Functional Support Team's progress and status of Issues
Personal Requirements
Essential
- At least 5 years of working experience in IT system and application support.
- Minimum 3 Years in supporting Murex Mx.3 platform and Front Office trader user supports.
- Strong product knowledge in financial market, IRD, FX & MM, EQD, CRD
- Excellent understanding of trade life cycle from booking to confirmation and payments
- Expert in setting up simulation views according to the needs of FO
- Expert in IRS/CDS pricing (generator configuration, schedules, conventions)
- Knowledge of OSP and related workflow queues, Datamart reporting and pre-trade workflows development
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Confidence to build a rapport with the traders
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Bachelor graduate in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent work experience in Murex or similar system.
