Major ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities
* Provide leadership within programming department
* Help develop and implement a global strategy for capability and skill development to meet current and future requirements
* Work in various therapy areas.
* Provide direction and support to development and maintenance of any required tools and processes required to conduct the activities of the group, including any continuous improvement efforts
* Ensure compliance to ethics, policy, standard procedures and information integrity
* Ensure the quality of Programming work, including the development of global standards, best practice, metrics and a framework for continuous improvement
*Develop, coach, mentor, motivate and inspire individuals within the group
Skills and Competencies
* Strong competence and ability in the field of Programming
* Problem Solvingability to resolve conflict and deal with a wide range of complex problems independently.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Confident team player, assertive but willing to listen and to seek and learn from the views of others
* Strong, strategic influencing skills
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelors' degree with at least 8+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry working with clinical information and clinical development processes with broad experience as a programming domain expert in the health care environment
* Comprehensive knowledge of clinical and pharmaceutical drug development process
* Significant Clinical Development experience in the area Programming.
* An understanding of the therapeutic areas related to Companies products
* Excellent interpersonal skills that influence and shape the organization
* Ability to influence effectively while maintaining independent and objective views
