Fantastic role for a talented Java developer with around 2-4 years of experience!Brilliant position working as a Java Analyst Developer in the Regulatory space of a world-renowned Investment Bank! Exposure to all areas of the business, with numerous scope to work on business-critical projects.
This is not your traditional "back office" position as you will be interacting with a number of business functions. You will be given ownership and responsibility of some large-scale projects (working the full project life-cycle) and have to gather detailed technical requirements from end-users from a consultative viewpoint.
The Bank and this collaborative team offer a great working environment and are looking forward to having a strong communicator and passionate technologist join their growing team. The group currently use core Java, as well as a Java GUI, with Sybase database. There may be other opportunities to get involved in some UX design too for those with a specific interest in this.
This is a perfect position for someone who's interested in gaining extensive financial knowledge, covering a broad range of areas.
To apply:
You must be an enthusiastic and strong technologist with good commercial experience as a Java developer (around 2-4 years).
Exposure to other Java GUI and server-side technologies and database experience will be beneficial to your application.
You should be an excellent communicator that enjoys working closely in a team, as well as having the aptitude to work independently when tasks require.
