CAD Specialist - Bracknell, Greater London.
Key Responsibilities:
General CAD (Fire and BMS) to include:
3D CAD for T5 SME (single model environment) on BAA system for all T5 campus buildings/sub-projects
Create and maintain graphic files & drawings
Maintenance of drawings on Document Control System
Management of Assets (AIM Database) & cable labels
Compliance to BAA CAD processes
Fire - FACET Tool functions to include:
Responsible for creating Panel filters (drawing extract) for FACET using ElcoCAD tool for FACET input
FACET system operator (upload filter and precom files)
Interrogate FACET generated errors and propose solutions to resolve
Assist site & commissioning engineers with FACET issues
Person Specification:
CAD knowledge in a large project environment
BAA CAD Standard knowledge
Knowledge of the following (Desirable):
CAD Duct library, Dimensions, X-refs,
Scaling of Viewports & Viewport Content
Fire systems/BMS knowledge a distinct advantage
Knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/Access)
