Freelance Digital Designer (remote)

Job Description
We are currently looking for a digital designer. In this role you will be exposed to a wide variety of projects (websites, Facebook, application, advertising, etc) for a number of clients in multiple industries (spirits, finance, government, etc).

About the position

You'll be working across the entire design process for new projects - from wireframes through final implementation.

You'll be working in multiple mediums, websites, Facebook pages, banner ads, email designs for all screen sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile).

You'll be working directly with our account team and a Creative Director who will help ensure you have clear direction.

You'll be expected to turn around projects fast while keeping the quality of your work very high. All PSDs should be properly named, measured and ready to go into the production phase.

Are you a good fit?

You have strong visual design skills, focus on details and quality, understanding of usability practices and experience with current front-end technologies.

You understand the importance of typography, grid systems, colour theory, and user experience.

You have a high working level Knowledge of Adobe Suite of Products: Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash

You'll have very strong design skills and a deep understanding of the advantages and limitations of digital media to create designs that are aesthetically stunning, legible, and usable.

You should feel comfortable taking direction, collaborating with other designers, developers and account managers.

You have a strong work ethic and ability to turnaround tight deadlines is a must.

You're not scared of tight deadlines and are excited by the idea of working in a small team of experts

You enjoy working in a fast paced environment that requires self-motivation and personal responsibility, incredible attention to detail and ability to multi-task

You have 1-3 years of experience in web design and a diploma or degree in graphic/web design
