Leading Online organisation is seeking a Performance Automation Tester to join their online project team where you will verify software performance to ensure ongoing scalability
As Performance Automation Tester you will be responsible for
- Designing and developing performance testing frameworks
- Using appropriate testing tools and methodologies
- Maintaining an understanding of WCMS architecture, traffic profiles and potential bottlenecks
- Design, write, develop and execute performance test scenarios that are scalable and repeatable
- Perform monitoring, diagnostics, analysis and provide accurate audience-focussed reporting of test results
- Design and implement functional automation tests that are highly robust, repeatable and maintainable
As Performance Automation Tester your background must include
- Strong Performance Automation Testing background in software testing
- Significant experience in implementing highly reusable and maintainable functional test automation frameworks
- Extensive experience in web performance testing across a range of tools and technologies
- Solid experience with open-source performance testing tools such as JMeter, ApacheBench etc
- Experience testing J2EE Web products with Linux, Apache, Tomcat and Oracle RDB environments
- Experience in working with at least one functional test automation tool, eg HP Quick Test Pro, Selenium
- Experience in logging and tracking defects, like JIRA
- Excellent communications skills are a must!
