Senior Resource Analyst
£15 per hour
Bristol
5 Month Contract

Our client a large financial organisation, are currently recruiting for a Senior Resource Analyst based in our prestigious office in Bristol.

Purpose of the role & key accountabilities/deliverables:
To support the Resourcing Manager in the management of CMCB resources to ensure effective planning, sourcing and deployment of project resources for all programmes/projects within the Commercial investment portfolio through:
Dy-to-day management of the resourcing process to ensure that appropriately skilled resources are available in a timely manner
Working with programmes/projects to ensure the CMCB Resourcing Team remain fully informed of both the supply and demand across the Commercial investment portfolio
Maintenance of a database and spreadsheets of resourcing information ensuring that all data is up to date, easy to find and from which appropriate management information (MI) reports can be obtained
The production of accurate MI reports
Ensure that Cost Management Unit (CMU) processes are followed to ensure all submission deadlines are met
Working with Group Change Management (GCM) and other internal resourcing business areas to source temporary resource using preferred suppliers, achieving the best possible rates
Managing the renewals and extensions process for contractors
Managing the process for the appointment of new contractors
Maintaining a good level of understanding of the skills/capabilities of the resources within the portfolio
Identifying and raising any resource portfolio risks and issues, seeking mitigation and/or resolution
Ensuring all stakeholders are aware of the relevant resourcing processes and tools and use as appropriate

What core skills & experience are required to do the role?
Good understanding of resourcing processes and tools
Stakeholder management, relationship management and customer care 
Excellent, influencing, persuasion, negotiation and conflict resolution skills 
Strong organisational and planning skills 
Ability to work under pressure 
Computer literate, in particular Microsoft Excel 
Proactive and creative approach to problem solving 
Strong written and oral communication skills
