Campus/Site Development Manager is required for this government client Location: York/London (Flexible, however estimated at 3 days per week in York)

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
To establish the selected site as multi-tenanted science campus. This will require a dedicated experienced person to take on two major functions: 1 Manage the separation of the ownership, management and operation of the site. This will include the overseeing financial/accounting issues and the creation of a specific operational team to take over the running of the site; 2 Developing a business plan that will look at the future options for the site which would satisfy not just Government etc but also to interest a private sector partner.

Relevant Experience
o Experience of leading similar science park project;
o Experience of working with central government departments and agencies o Managing complex commercial transactions in the public and private sector
o Stakeholder Relationship Management within central government, academic partners and local stakeholders.

Other Significant Role Requirements
o Flexibility, willingness and ability to adapt to change.
o Persuasive presenter, facilitator and negotiator with the ability to influence to support the achievement of the project objectives.
o Able to monitor/scan external sources of data and intelligence and to pro-actively share relevant information with others.

People Management
o Will be required to lead, manage, motivate and co-ordinate cross-functional teams, sometimes with no direct authority over a significant number of the key stakeholders and team members.
