Our high profile public sector client requires a Marketing & Communications Manager based in Central London for a 12 month maternity contract. Experience of public sector transport organisations an advantage.

The person will be responsible for running campaigns, on going projects, with Classic Marketing experience and not Stakeholder engagement, and press officer experience

1. Develop appropriate marketing activities in conjunction with the Operating Businesses to ensure that the agreed marketing objectives are delivered
2. Informing the development of the budget for each specific campaign
3. Work with the Operating Businesses to understand the opportunities for utilising marketing activities to address business issues
4. Delivering the campaigns in line with the defined and agreed KPIs to time and to budget
5. Building a good understanding of the Operational business to ensure that the needs of the business can be balanced against the marketing outcomes
6. Lead virtual teams of key resources from across the wider Marketing team to enable delivery of the specific marketing activities
7. Act as an advisory service delivery to the Operational Businesses
8. Ensure that all Marketing activity takes into account all relevant UK and EU legislation
9. Ensure that all activity is delivered to time and budget and ensuring the status for each individual campaign is regularly made available to the Marketing Portfolio Manager (your line manager)
10. Members of the wider Marketing Team to ensure a strong link
