The Senior Business Systems Analyst promotes the Software Development Life Cycle by translating business requirements into information systems solution designs, including process flows, information flows, interface designs, and by recommending testing procedures, controls, and protocols.  The Business Systems Analyst bridges the gap between business analyst and developer for complex information systems.

Responsibilities:
-    Determines operational objectives by studying requested functional capabilities, gathering information, identifying necessary data elements and evaluating input and output requirements and formats.
-    Designs new systems by analysing requirements, studying system capabilities, constructing workflow diagrams and writing specifications.
-    Improves systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
-    Recommends controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
-    Assists project managers by identifying project milestones, phases and elements.
-    Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions.
-    Assists solutions architects, technical leads and developers by precisely defining exactly what information needs to move to where in each sequential step in application workflow.
-    Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures as necessary.
-    Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation.
-    Prepares technical reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends.
-    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
-    Bachelors Degree
-    6 years of experience in IT projects
-    3 year of experience in Business Systems Analysis and Design

-    Attention to detail and qualityPreferred Qualifications:
-    Bachelors Degree in MIS, Engineering or Business
-    8 years of experience in IT projects
-    4 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis and Design
-    Experience with Agile Development or other rapid cycle development processes
