Communication Coordinator

The Infrastructure Management Group is running a program to drive organizational change and to implement processes and capabilities that will improve the organization's ability to define, implement and manage infrastructure services that provide value to the entire organization. The Service Request Channel Management (SRCM) track is one of several projects that fall under the overall Infrastructure Services Transformation Program (ISTP).

We are looking for a communications coordinator that will be responsible for developing and carrying out SRCM communication activities for this multi-year initiative. This person will develop, implement, and measure effectiveness of communication activities to minimize the potential negative impacts of the introduction of changes to IMG.
Stage of the project - strategy through implementation
This position will work closely with the IMG Communications contact, the SRCM Project Track Lead, the SRCM Project Manager, and the ISTP program Organizational Change Management (OCM) resources to ensure that the strategy and approach supports the goals of the Program.

Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and drive SRCM stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
- Use client standards and frameworks to develop and deliver communication activities.
- Work with IMG communication lead to identify SRCM communication needs and audiences.
- Ensure activities to adequately assess, prepare for, and communicate changes to the organization are included in the communication plan.

Essential Functions:
- Drive the implementation of SRCM communication strategies and actions to enhance adoption.
- Participate in SRCM stakeholder assessment and engagement activities.
- Help prepare and review communication material.
- Adjust the communication plan as needed.
- Coordinate timing of release of communication activities with other activities in the SRCM project plan.
- Monitor and measure effectiveness of stakeholder engagement and change management messaging actions.
- Represent SRCM to program committees and work groups charged with communicating organization, department, or unit level improvement strategies.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience leading communications efforts through change programs.
- Demonstrated competency in project management.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, organization development, communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business operations, management practices and principles.
- Demonstrated competency in project management.
- Must be able to skillfully communicate with all program team members and groups impacted by the project
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in the following: Oral and written communication, development of communication messaging via email and other venues, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Desired: Experience working in a technology organization
- Desired: SharePoint knowledge and experience

Minimum years of experience required Five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in communications.

Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, organization development, communications, or a related field
