URGENTLY LOOKING FOR A PROJECT ENGINEER TO WORK IN LONDON!!!!Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, is currently seeking a Project Engineer to work in West Hampstead, London on a permanent basis. My client a managed service provider require a Project Engineer to join an established and successful team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing projects and new solutions for customers. This includes:
- Design and implement new infrastructure solutions for customers.
- Take the technical lead on projects that span a variety of technologies.
- Gain and maintain relevant supplier accreditations.
- Technically approve planned installations, upgrades and change requests
- Create design standards, equipment lists, configurations, test plans etc. for project plans.
- Research and propose new technologies that would benefit the company or its customers.
- Ensure that all software, hardware and communication systems recommended for inclusion in system designs are robust, value for money and all risks have been fully identified.
- Ensure that acceptance testing and witness testing of new installations is carried out.
- Understand the road map of all products and solutions the company offer to the client base.
The successful candidate will be experienced with the following technologies:
- Microsoft Exchange 2007 & 2010
- Citrix Xenapp
- Networking (Cisco, Juniper etc.)
- VMWare
- Windows Server
- Microsoft Active Directory (Inc. Group Policy & DNS)
The following skills will be highly advantageous:
- Citrix CloudPortal
- Citrix NetScaler
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Mimecast
- Blackberry
- Microsoft SQL
- Microsoft HyperV
- Linux
