SAS ANALYSTSAS ANALYST - LONDON - 7 MONTH CONTRACT - ASAP
I am currently recruiting for a SAS Analyst for a leading insurance organisation based in Central London.
I am looking for a contractor with a minimum of 4 years experience using SAS to code and manipulate large volumes of data. The ideal candidate must also have experience working with Oracle Database and knowledge of SQL programming.
Skills/experience
- SAS
- SQL
- Oracle
- Ability to work with large and complex data
- Excellent communication skills (client facing/mentoring)
- Degree in statistics or mathematics (preferred)
The role will involve:-
- Designing and implementing program code for analytic studies, while maintaining, evaluating and reporting on findings
- Working with partners across departments to translate findings into operational process and metrics
- Developing programmes of assessment metrics, quality based incentives and public reporting of data
- Supporting data and process investigations and helping to implement the preferred solution
- Presenting results to internal or external audiences including senior teams
- Completing ad-hoc projects relating to data investigations.
- Building study protocols, inclusion/exclusion criteria, predictive models, development of clinical identification algorithms and outreach tools
