A high profile QLD State Government department is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their talented and dedicated team in Brisbane to work on a new and exciting project. This is an initial 5 month contract with the view to extend.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Conduct analysis to identify potential business risks and impacts so that process mapping can be prioritised, scheduled, assigned, undertaken and delivered in a timely way;
  • Consult, liaise and participate with project team members, clients, stakeholders and users to fully document To-Be business processes;
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and users to document (or assist them in documenting) detailed work instructions;
  • Comply with relevant program and project methodologies, including the use of Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) for process mapping;
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that products and deliverables meet agreed standards and are readily accessible across the program

The successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:

  • Substantial experience and/or certification in business analysis and process mapping
  • Experience in analysis and mapping Asset Maintenance processes
  • Strong knowledge of Asset Maintenance business processes
  • Experience and/or certification in Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
  • High level interpersonal skills
