SAP Solution Designer/Architect
- Located at Surfers Paradise - Gold Coast
- Contract until 28th June 2013 - Extensions possible pending budgetary approval
The Solution Designer role acts as the Solution/Technical Lead for major projects reporting to the Project Manager to plan, coordinate and manage technical resources assigned to the project. For smaller activities (major tasks not projects) the role performs the project management function. The role has over-arching responsibility for the technical design and development of the total end to end ICT Solution, and ensuring appropriate support and documentation is in place to enable the production release of the solution.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Depending on the scope of engagement, proven technical capabilities in a selection of all of the following:
- Solution Development Lifecycle best practice frameworks
- Broad knowledge of IC&T across the complete end to end solution, including ICT Infrastructure (Mobile solutions, Desktop Computing, Server and storage (Windows, Unix and Mainframe), Messaging, Data and Voice Networks, ICT Security), Business Applications, Integration, Data Management and reporting.
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Project management PMBOK/Prince2
- Qld Govt ICT Planning Methodology
- V-Model Testing Methodology
- HP Quality Centre
- Broad knowledge of SAP Business Suite
- SAP Solution Manager
- SAP ASAP Methodology
