Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for a Bi-lingual Dutch & French speaking SAP PP Consultant for a major long term contract in Belgium starting ASAP. Please see below for more details on the role:
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical support to experienced staff in the areas of production planning, demand management, long term operational planning, capacity planning and shop floor control
- Lead and assist in the realistation of change/new projects
- Proactively monitor master data (bill of materials (BOM's), routings, safety stock, re-order points, work centers, control cycles, MRP parameters in material master)
- Candidate will provide expert advice in troubleshooting and implementation of business processes for production planning, by working with appropriate groups to reconcile and adjust any required data input parameters
- Provide assistance in the execution of MRP runs and long term planning cycles
- Provide functional and technical documentation in the areas of interface design, SAP forums/reports, SAP enhancements and workflow
- Prepare and present documentation for change requests which need change control board approval
- Provide functional training and expertise in planning and forecasting techniques in a mixed SAP PM, SAP PS, SAP CS, SAP PP, SAP QM environment
- Incident and change management, configuration, testing, training and coaching of key and end-users, as well as maintaining functional design documentation, process documentation, testing documentation and execution, training documentation, business process procedures and control matrices
Required functional/technical knowledge:
- Proven process experience in the areas of manufacturing
- At least 5 full life cycle implementations in SAP PP planning in large manufacturing or maintenance/repair companies
- Minimum of 8 years SAP PP experience
- Proven SAP functional and configuration experience in the following SAP PP areas: production planning, demand management, long-term planning, capacity planning and shop floor control
- Good knowledge of at least one other module (SAP PS, SAP PM, SAP CS, SAP QM)
- Integration knowledge in the following SAP areas: SAP PS, PM, CS, WM, MM, SD, CO
- APICS CPIM, CSCP certification will be considered as an asset
