The Engagement Manager is responsible for all client interfaces within a business area (client). The EM works together with the business area team to understand their business area and provide consulting services as it relates to a customer information and utility, as well as reporting and analytics. The EM will work with the team to guide and inform requirements for the Customer Database and Tools to ensure that best practices are communicated and used.

The following are key responsibilities:

  • Client relationship management -managing relationships with client personnel and providing thought leadership and communication updates regarding project status and program detail
  • Liaison between delivery teams and client regarding strategic planning, intake, prioritization, delivery, testing, support life cycle. Must be able to communicate with technical teams and translate business speak into terms that technical people can understand. Can have experience with data and a strong understanding of technology.
  • Requirements Gathering - ability to facilitate conversations and gather/document detailed requirements that support the business needs and system best practices. Must be able to take complex problems and communicate them in a simple manner.
  • Facilitation and Communication - must be a strong communicator and have the ability to facilitate large groups of people ( people). Must have a strong grasp on building communication documents through ppt, excel, word

Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
  • Significant Business Development and Project Management experience required
  • Must have experience in the financial services industry, with strength with in the Insurance sector.
  • Knowledge of Financial industry specific go-to-market solutions a plus
  • Track record of interacting and building relationship with CXO level client contacts
  • Global Delivery Model experience desirable
