Support Worker to work in Residential School: Boys aged 7-16 years with Aspergers Syndrome - SEN School in Lymington - £8-8.50 per hour - To start ASAP, 5 days a week, ongoing

ITN Mark Education are currently recruiting for a Support Worker with excellent social skills and a personable nature to work in one of our client SEN Schools in Lymington that caters for boys aged 7-16 years who have Aspergers Syndrome. This is a temporary-permanent position to start ASAP, 5 days a week, hours ranging from 8am-9.30pm, Monday-Sunday.

Within this role you will primarily be working in the residential area providing guidance, support and encouragement to young people in a variety of settings including classroom, education and off site activities. You will be working as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
- You must have good spoken and written English;
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience within an SEN/care/educational setting,
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
- You need to supply two years of references of which at least one must be from a school/care setting;
- This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure and overseas police checks (if applicable). If you do not have a current applicable one we will ask you to pay £44 towards one.
