Business Lead on Conduct Risk Programme, (12 month FTC)A leading financial services organization inLondonis seeking a team of senior conduct risk professionals to work on an exciting new 12 month programme focussing on communications and training, assessing conduct risk, design and roll out of a conduct risk principal risk and the production of management information for strategic decision making.
The responsibilities of the Strategic and MI Director include:
- Identify strengths and weaknesses in the business management of Conduct Risk
- Provide feedback into the design of the Conduct risk framework
- Provide advice and guidance to the business on the Conduct Risk framework
- Champion Conduct Risk practices into day-to-day management
- Drive current state assessments of management of Conduct Risk within the business using prototype conduct risk framework
- Drive assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of the controls used to mitigate Conduct Risks
Requirements for this role include:
- Ability to critically analyse management information, policies & procedures to identify and use judgement around relevant conduct risk indicators
- Knowledge of risk management techniques and concepts
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment and developments in particular an understanding of the FCA's approach and objectives
- Control function experience - for example in Risk, Compliance, Finance.
- Understanding of different business strategies for risk associated with evolving, regulatory compliance issues
- Understanding of global banking and key controls relating to customers / conduct risk
- Ability to manage reporting lines and relationships across multiple disciplines
- Ability to interpret and practice integrated risk management
Salary - £60,000 to £80,000
Duration - 12 months
