My client a large global brand is looking for Employee Communications Specialist.
The Employee Communication specialist will play a key role implementing a site-wide communication program.
The key responsibilities of this role are to
- Build and implement a communications program with a view to ensure sustainability and ensure key stakeholders input into the process.
- Provide expertise to Web development and Design team in terms of information required with strong input from key stakeholders and ensure focus group and initial feedback processes take place.
Implement/Tactical
- Integrated calendar process
- Weekly information sheet process (letter, content, review)
- Annual communications plan
- Distribution list stewardship
- Noticeboards governance structures
- Ensure effective interface with Express and Newsline
- Launch the new tools and ensure effective communication of roll out
Develop/Strategic
- Stakeholder map with consideration for target media and content
- Cross site champions process- how communications messages can be shared across stakeholder groups
- Approach to shifting communications behaviours during 2013 (to achieve change by 2Q 14).
- Develop KPIs and stewardship processes
- Consider the controls processes we utilize prior to messages being released
Skills needed
- Proven track record developing effective employee communication vehicles utilizing multiple mediums and modes of delivery
- Excellent editing skills with ability to position and tailor messages for a wide variety of audiences and convey appropriate tone, nuance and level of information
- Demonstrated aptitude for understanding complex issues with the ability to translate and simplify them for key audiences both verbally and visually
