SEC Recruitment is currently searching for a SAP VIM consultant to work for a major retail client in Greece.
The Objective of this role is to:
- Collaborating with and communicating to different stakeholders in order to define/align business requirements from different operating companies. Be solution architect of the regional template design based on the agreed business blueprint and according to SAP best practice.
- Ensuring configuration, developments, testing and trainings are according to high quality standard and in line with management expectations. Responsible to achieve dedicated objectives and deliverables according to project plan. Be subject matter expert analysing retail-specific business processes and performs frequently new and varied work that involves a high degree of complexity.
- Determines own practices and procedures and may contribute to the development of new concepts.
- Configures SAP VIM modules according to solution designs
- Writes documentation
- Organizes, prepares and presents workshops (strong communication/presentation skills)
- Keeps current with latest technology
In adherence to the client company's policies and while adapting to the business environment.
Based in Athens but willing to travel to Belgium or Hungary.
Ideal candidates Must have: -
- At least 3-4 years of experience and knowledge in implementing SAP VIM applications.
- International implementation experience, in multi-country roll-outs, based on global template.
- Communication skills: regular contact to be established with others inside and outside the organization including co-workers, external, and internal customers.
- Proficient with MS Office applications.
- Strong decision making skills and ability to use discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Familiar with project implementation methodologies

- Ability to work under time pressure with strong focus on delivering quality
- 8+ years' experience in SAP R/3 preferably within the IS-Retail and financial modules
- At least 5 years' experience in writing down functional specifications
- Fluent in English, knowledge of French, Dutch, Greek, Romanian will be considered an asset
