An award winning Internet business seek a talented and ambitious Creative Director. This company are moving from a start-up to rapid growth phase and are growing their Dublin team accordingly. They have huge funding in place. Already especially well regarded, this company have ambitious growth plans. You will be a passionate, experienced Creative Director who will take the lead in the design of the company's innovative products and deliver a suite of products in a time driven environment to Wow! their customers.

You will: - define/drive the creative roadmap, - create content to align with that roadmap, - inspire and lead the team of designers to do the same and -keep it all on deadline.

Your background will be in graphic Design as opposed to architecture - you will really need Graphic Design expertise in this role to really bring a strong visual side toe the role.

Further Duties include:
  • Lead creative sessions for projects and product lines
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion
  • Develop/produce content aligned with the creative roadmap
  • Establish creative direction for the entire line of online products
  • Supervise and inspire the creative team
  • Work with internal teams to generate ideas for new products
  • Produce work in addition to leading the team
  • Manage team members
  • Provide quality control over concepts and projects
So what experience do you have?
  • Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent visual design and management experience required; graduate degree preferred
  • Ideally 4+ years management experience working with clients, advertising & e-marketing.
  • You are a hugely creative thinker and problem solver. You have the ability to work with senior business minds and help articulate and convert these ideas into creative products.
  • You may have ran a mid size agency and have had oversight of many aspects of the creative process, from branding to product content.
  • You know your golden ratio!
  • Expert knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, colour, typography, photography and print
  • Experience working with copy and copywriters
  • A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process
  • Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns
  • Ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe product suite. Expert Photoshop knowledge
  • Knowledge of HTML, DHTML & CSS advantageous
  • Ideally user interface and interactive design experience from story boarding through to final UI components for web and APPs
  • Mobile app experience is advantageous.

You will have a degree (more than a diploma) in Graphic Design, preferably but not necessarily from National College of Art and design or similar international institution. 6-8 years in agency experience and have been a Creative Director for a minimum of 3 years. You will have a sleek, online, user friendly portfolio that clearly and simply showcases a talent and eye for beautiful design. They are passionate about creativity and have a personal portfolio of non-professional work (they make cards, they sculpt, illustrate, graffiti artist, whatever) and they are willing to share this with us. They have a track record of people management and hopefully have grown a small team (of 3) to a big team (of 12-15).

My client feels that anyone intrinsically linked to brand and brand promotion should have, first and foremost, an easy, attractive channels to marker themselves as a brand - this is a slick, visually appealing personal portfolio website.

My client has indicated that candidates should have an online link to a visually compelling showcase of your work. They will be looking for any non- corporate personal work that you are willing to share.

The reason for this is that they believe that the creative director will be passionate about creativity and have a significant body of work in some regard that is not directly linked to your professional portfolio.

Your portfolio will offer a strong insight into whether you hold the flair/passion they seek. This portfolio should also display a problem solving approach. The portfolio should have 10 or more relevant pieces of work.

Open to both Daily Rate and Salary candidates. They are open to contract or permanent, and full time or part time.
