Ihre Aufgaben:
- Software - and patch deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve potential issue with software deployment and inventory reporting in a global environment
- Maintain existing services, toolsets, integrations and supporting databases/infrastructure
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions using a range of technologies and toolsets
- Provide a Service Support role to existing services
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, tools and processes to optimize the management these services
- Perform a continuous review of existing services to identify where improvements can be made and contribute to the development roadmap
- Design and develop the metrics and KPI's required to report on the services offered, monitor progress and flag areas of concern
- MS Analysis and Reporting Services, design, implementation and support
- A strong scripting background and one or more of: VBScript, Perl, SED, AWK, Java, Xml, C# or C
- Experience of performing a similar role
- Any supporting or administrative experience of ServiceNow although all necessary application training will be provided
- Web development and support experience
- Experience of Network Discovery tools, or equivalent solutions, and WMI, ssh and SNMP protocols
- Strong, demonstrable understanding of network hardware, design, protocols and configuration
- Very good knowledge of TCP/IP
Ihre Qualifikation
- Symantec / Altiris 7.1 (SMP) design and Administration experience
- Experience in large scale software deployments
- Experience in patch management using Altiris
- Experience in application packaging
- Experience in tuning and optimizing software delivery
- Very good analytical skills for troubleshooting
- Experience of large scale complex, commercial IT environments
- Experience of system administration on Windows Servers
- A good understanding of database administration and knowledge of MS Transact SQL coding to an advanced level
- A very good technical working knowledge of IT infrastructure, varied operating systems (client and server), assorted hardware types and network infrastructure in a complex enterprise environment
- A strong understanding of relational Datamodelling and defining/managing relationships
- The creativity and drive to work alone and as part of a team to identify and drive through solutions in a multi-cultural and sometimes difficult and challenging environment
