An innovative Medical Device company based inNorthern Illinoiscurrently has an opening for a Software Engineer.The company specializes in Diagnostic Medical Devices and due to a sustained period of success is currently looking to build out its product innovation team to bring new products from conception to market. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing critical components of the overall system architecture.
Candidates for the Software Engineering position must have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors or higher within Electrical or Computer Engineering or related engineering field
- 3+ years experience Software Engineering experience within the Medical Device industry
- C/C++ Development
- Object class development and understanding
- Streaming data formatting and parsing
- Network services
- SerialHostPortservices
- Linux / Embedded Linux development with emphasis in shared libraries
- Windows DLL development
- Networking Protocols using TCP/IP, SOAP, and RESTful
This is a 12 month contract paying $65 - $70 per hour.
