My Client, a global leader in the Medical Device Industry now has a fantastic contract opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer.The Medical Device Company, based in Northern Illinois, is seeking to expand its Mechanical Design Engineering team, focused on Computer Aided Engineering, to undertake Solid Mechanical Modeling to analyze the reliability, manufacturability and functionality of new products designed by the CAD Engineers. The team specializes in disposable single use medical devices used directly by patients.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a cutting edge niche within the Medical Device industry. Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:
- PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or Materials Science
- 5-10 years experience in the Medical Device Industry
- Strong experience in Computer Aided Engineering using Abaqus
This is a 12 month contract opportunity paying $50 - $75 Per Hour.
