Location: StaffordshireJob Role: Embedded Software Engineer
Salary: £40,000 + Excellent Benefits
Embedded Software Engineer urgently needed to join a prestigious global company. My client is now expanding their team and looking to add a highly motivated embedded software engineer to begin an excellent career opportunity long term with the company.
Reporting directly to the engineering manager, you will be joining a highly focused and passionate project team working on the most advanced technologies. Responsibilities will include the design and implementation of safety critical software for embedded systems programming in C. You will also be testing and validating software in the automotive industry alongside liaising with both internal/external customers.
Ideally you will have the following experience:-
- Educated to degree/HND level in electronic engineering, computer science or a similar
relevant subject.
- Knowledge of the design and implementation of software (possibly safety critical) for
embedded systems in C
- Design and development of new real time embedded control systems
- Control systems and theory
- Experience of microprocessors development tools and emulators
- Experience of software engineering design including full software life cycle management
and associated tools.
Desirables include:-
- Knowledge of CAN bus networks
- Experience of DFMEAs, risk assessment, FMEAs, environmental standards and EMC
compliance.
