I have an urgent Contract Electrical Engineer requirement within a Global leading Defence Engineering Company.
My client is looking for a Contract Electrical Engineer with an experience of electrical design and integration on large defence programmes. You will become an integral part of a dynamic, experienced team of technically excellent engineers working on the most exciting projects in the defence sector.
The suitable candidate will have these responsibilities:
*Manage the development of electrical designs/drawings
*Provide data analysis, problem solving, and support during the manufacturing stage.
*Interface with customers and the internal technicians on the manufacture of the designs
*Develop test schedules.
Required skills:
*Electrical/Electronics design and experience of Low voltage (DC Power), high current power distribution.
*Knowledge of EMC, Tempest and power system design
*Distributed control and interface experience
*Experience with Def Stan 61-5 part 6
*Practical electrical installation, harness and busbar design experience
It is important that the ideal candidate has a proven track record of working in a structured development process environment with a formal Engineering Qualification in Electrical Engineering
