I am currently looking to recruit an Electronics Engineer for an initial 6month contract, which could run for up to 18months. They are looking for a technically competent and enthusiastic engineer for this is a fantastic opportunity to work within a very experienced team with a wealth of knowledge within the electronics/defence sector.
Mandatory skills required:
*Altium schematics and Layout
*Layout experience of high density multilayer controlled impedance designs and flex-rigid.
*Some electronics experience including analogue and digital design.
Desirable:
*Experience in defence or high density consumer electronics (phones, tablets, PDAs) type industry would be beneficial, but prepared to consider other backgrounds.
*Experience with the some of the following would be of interest: DCDC regulators, I2C, SPI, microcontrollers, MOSFET switches, RS232, CANbus, LCDs
This will be a 6 month+ contract, the role will be half layout, half schematics and design specs. The candidate may need to get involved with some EMC pre-qualification testing.
Candidates must be willing and eligible to under-go the SC Clearance vetting, current SC Clearance is beneficial!
