Infrastructure Support Engineer/Contract/Brussels/French or Dutch Speaking
Infrastructure Support Engineer required for an initial 5 month Contract based in Central Brussels.
As a Support Engineer you will need to be fluent in Dutch or French.
Technical skills:
- Manage mail archive- fax - SMS environment.
- Manage Active directories
- Manage file and print environment
- Manage the antivirus - antispam environment
- Manage second-level support, pick up cases helpdesk can't solve.
Understanding + proven experience of following domains- products is a must:
- W2K3 - W2K8R2
- Exchange 2K10
- Active Directory
- Networking TCP/IP, DNS
- File and print services
Understanding and experience of following domains- products is a PLUS
- Linux (Red Hat)
- Windows 2012
- VMware ESX
- Symantec Vault (Vault 9.0)
- Faxination (fax - SMS)
- Mailmarshal (mail relaying & spam)
- Trend micro Deepsecurity (antivirus) + Sophos
- Safenet Authentication Manager (e-token)
- Security principles
- Microsoft Operation Manager 2007
- Scripting AD/exchange objects (VBS)/powershell
Other Important Skills:
- Must be a team player
- Must have planning and organizational skills (working with strict deadlines - must be able to cope with stress).
- Must be able to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Must be able to communicate (oral + written) in French, Dutch and English. Speaking - understanding German is a plus
- Must be able to work independently
- Customer minded.
- Able to learn new products-environments quickly.
- Able to write processes - documentation.
- Must have a Driver license + car + mobile phone
- Must be accountable and is NOT a 9 to 5 worker
Special conditions
- Candidate must be Linux certified within 6 months after start. If this condition is not met the contract will stop immediately.
- During the time that the candidate is not certified only 90% of the day price will be paid.
