SQL Data warehouse developer is required by my client within the investment banking space based in the heart of London. As the SQL data warehouse Developer you will be working within a very innovative team whose main focus is delivering quality solutions to the business, they have been given the task of developing a new data warehouse to provide unique reports to the rest of the business across all investment banking products.

The reason that this niche SQL team is looking to expand is due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver cutting edge technologies/solutions to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly.

The role needs a strong developer who has the ability to develop SQL including the business intelligence stack of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and MDX cubes and being able to develop unique dashboards and integrate them with SQL.

As the SQL developer this role will require you to build out the new databases and liaise with many different areas of the business including working alongside front office on a daily basis.

Essential Skills

* Investment Banking Knowledge is an Essential Skill for this role
* Strong SQL Server data warehousing development experience
* Proven experience with SQL Business Intelligence Suite
* SQL - SQL 2012 would be preferred
* Full development life-cycle experience
* Candidates need to have an investment banking background preferably in Risk systems
