Here are the skills and experience you'll have:
- Capable of UX research and evaluation - tell us precisely why something does or doesn't work
- Able to listen to users and produce designs based on their requirements
- Skilled at producing wireframes and interaction storyboards based on best practises and user stories
- Can take a design from the wireframe stage through to Photoshop mockups and then the final design
- Knowledge of designing good-sized web applications - and portfolio samples to match
- Someone who likes to stop and think - you're more concerned with creating a useful product than something that just looks nice
- Experience producing web design work for a wide range of clients
- Able to work on a range of projects and provide general design support where necessary
- A friendly, easy-going personality. Happy to work with developers, testers, managers and others involved in projects.
Other things:
- Knowledge of InDesign and Flash
- Ability to mock-up ideas in basic HTML
- Capable of producing design for print
