Description
One of my clients is a well known player in the commercial construction industry, and due to winning a new project, they are in need of a well connected Site Manager.The position will initially be a 2-3 days per week for the first 2 months, then as the project gets to the busier stages it will become 5 days per week for the remainder of the project (approx. 4 months).
You will be required to have the following skills to be consider for this position:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Site Manager within the building industry.
- Demonstrated experience in timely delivery of commercial projects.
- Have an extremely good network of local sub contractors.
- Report any issues to management on a regular basis.
- Local commercial construction site experience.
- Thorough technical knowledge of the building process and project sequencing.
- Be able to identify problems early and find solutions.
- Knowledge of the contract management principles & implications of actions.
- Excellent knowledge of OH&S procedures
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Strong staff management and mentoring skills.
- Demonstrated verbal & written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills
