Our client, a global organisation is seeking a configuration architect for a CMDB focused role. This is a Canberra based contract position and is interviewing immediately.
Experience required:
4 years + of relevant experience
Developing, implementing and maintaining processes and procedures
Managing data and ensuring quality and accuracy

Role responsibilities:
Maintaining and developing a federated CMDB to meets business requirements in a multi service provider environment
You will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of the Configuration Management Plan and all other associated policies and procedures
Responsible for managing the Continual Improvement Plan in relation to Configuration Management
You will be involved in identifying and defining Configuration Management requirements with the client in a collaborative manner and provide input to the design and development of the Configuration Management System (CMS) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
Responsible for the Configuration Management process in line with specified governance management framework
Ensure process compliance by managing the Remedial/Corrective Action Management process for any breaches that occur from end to end
Identify, manage and mitigate risks to successfully maintaining a highly accurate federated CMDB and asset register
The role will require you to effectively manage the Configuration and Asset Management team
This is a superb brand new contract opportunity based in Canberra and as such, Australian Citizenship is required for this role.
