The client is one of the leading worldwide operators of Offshore wind Energy, with an ever growing portfolio or constructed and planned Offshore Wind Farms in the European Seas. The client is currently looking to fill an essential position of Deputy Lead Commissioning Manager with an experienced individual. This individual will occupy a position in the North East/ East UK.
Duration: 1 June 2013/1 August 2013 to 30 March 2015
Working week: 5 working days per week - Weekends can occur
Job Description
Planning and organising
  • Prepare overall Commissioning Plan accordance to the Project Plan
  • Prepare commissioning manual, including organisation chart, roles, responsibilities, governance and meeting structure, and procedures
  • Staff the organisation with competent people with the necessary authorisations
  • Resource planning and holiday planning
Execution
  • Communicate and implement the commissioning manual (organisation, governance structure, meeting structure, procedures and templates)
  • Overall management and coordination of all commissioning activities, including:
?Commissioning of the off- and onshore substations?Commissioning of the WTG, switchgear and HV cabling (array and export)?Commissioning of the SCADA system?Overall coordination and alignment with contractors, QHSE , QM and other parties?Report and communicate progress and results to Project Management and commissioning organisation
Transfer to O&M
  • Control that everything is covered in relation to the subsequent operation
  • Control that the commissioning is documented according to requirements, rules and guidelines
  • Control that all HSE procedures are implemented
  • Determine when commissioning
Qualification of Candidate
  • Senior Staff or Staff with minimum 10 years professional experience and with 5 years experience within Offshore Wind Farm Industry.
  • Know-how and knowledge about 6 MW WTG is essential.
