Description
Solution Architect required for a contract assignment based in Helsingborg, Sweden.
The assignment will either be 50% workload (part time) or there is a chance that you could work Full time but for a shorter duration and in this case you would be required to be available to answer questions/provide advice (FOC) after completion.
The project involves a new Supplier Portal is being put in place. This portal will reside on a SharePoint 2010 platform and will use a Single-Sign-On (SSO) solution based on ADFS/SAML. Currently there are a number of business applications in .NET which will utilize this new SSO solution and to make this efficient a new login component is foreseen to be established based on Windows Identify Foundation.
This component needs to be designed and developed. Also only a manual solution (with the use of SharePoint groups) to managing supplier data connected to each user when setting content restrictions in Supplier Portal is provided. However an automatic solution is requested that collects required data from existing sources which needs to be designed and developed.
In the role of Solution Architect you will assist the client in solution design and testing, carrying out the following tasks:
- Examining business requirements.
- Defining alternative IT solutions to address the requirements.
- Selecting best design and generating full design descriptions for the selected solution.
- Initiating the development of the designed solution
- Securing that the selected IT solution can fulfil the agree requirements.
The ideal candidate for the role of Solution Architect should have the following:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft solutions like SSO, WCF/WIF, AFDS, .Net, MSDN & Sharepoint 2010.
- Experience in web design, system development and SSO solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with fluent English (or Swedish) language.
Happy to commit to a part time assignment onsite in Sweden.
