Contract - Software and Hardware Test Developer - Cambridge

Our client is a pioneer in On-net CDN (Content Delivery Network) infrastructure solutions, recognised as a market leader for on-net CDN solutions for Service Providers.

Due to continued success they are now looking for a Software/Hardware Test Developer to join their team urgently in their Cambridge location.

Duties of the role will include; Run through manual test cases, file bugs and report status; Assist in the design, implementation and execution of manual and automated, hardware and software tests; Undertake various manual hardware and software testing activities; Assist in the analysis of test results and liaise with other members of the group; Work within a group of developers and QA engineers; Assist in activities aimed at increasing the quality of our product.

To be considered for the job you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following; Linux; Ability to rack and commission equipment; Server hardware; Networking; SNMP; SAN Concepts; Network Bonds; Testing network/internet based systems; Scripting in Bash and/or Python.

Ideally you will have been working in a similar role recently and be able to make a positive impact immediately.
